DAY ONE

And if winter fishing is your scene don’t get caught in the cold!  Check out Dutch’s for the most trusted ice fishing tackle.  To launch your boat look no further than Lakeside Park and Lighthouse Harbor with three launch sites and 18 ramps.  Ten miles north of Fond du Lac you’ll discover Columbia Park with a generous amount of parking, overnight docking, a picnic area and an observation tower to climb for views of the lake.  An added bonus is Jim and Linda’s Lakeview Supper Club right next door with a patio that’s perfect for sunset dining!

DAY TWO

Put your boat in at Stockbridge Harbor offering overnight docks along the north bulkhead.  If you want to get off the boat for a meal the locals love Harbor Bar.

While in Stockbridge be sure to stop at Rippn-Lips Tackle Company the only full service bait, tackle and outdoor store on the east shore of Lake Winnebago.  In February it becomes the Sturgeon Spearing Headquarters with spears, decoys, gaffs and gifts.

Another popular spot for docking your boat or fishing off the shore is High Cliff State Park.  Located in Sherwood the park offers panoramic views of the Lake Winnebago.  For some time off the water there are miles of scenic trails, a beach and lakeview campsites.

There are three fishing seasons on Lake Winnebago – all year-round for Walleye; Early May to March for Northern Pike and Spearing for Sturgeon in February.

DAY THREE

Travel by car to Oshkosh or boat across the lake.  There you can find pontoon rentals at Brayton Bed & Breakfast or rent a canoe, kayak or paddle boat at Menominee Park.  Make time for lunch at Waverly Beach in Menasha.  Relax on a spacious outdoor patio and tiki bar
