The Winnebago County Historical and Archaeological Society promotes the advancement of local history in Winnebago County through programs/tours headquartered at the Morgan House, a Queen Anne style Victorian home built in 1884.

The Winnebago County Historical & Archaeological Society strives to represent, serve and involve community members by researching, preserving and communicating the history of Winnebago County, Wisconsin.

The WCHAS is located in the beautifully preserved John R. Morgan residence near downtown Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Tours of the historic home are free of charge, but donations are appreciated. Large groups are encouraged to schedule tours with society staff prior to visiting.
